I joined the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at California State University, Chico as an assistant professor in fall 2020. In May 2015, I earned my Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Kentucky, under the supervision of Dr. Richard Chanigo and Dr. Bin Huang. Before joining Chico State, I once served as a statistician in the Center for Health Services Research at the University of Kentucky. My research areas have focused on nonparametric regression, relative survival analysis in cancer research, and graph learning. I am also interested in statistics in information security.
